Community Voices

Community Voices is a bureau of speakers designed to give important stakeholders of United Way a deeper understanding of the important work we carry out in partnership to advance the common good in our communities.

Last year’s program was a tremendous success. An impressive 112 speakers helped to share the stories and inspire donors at over 350 events , including workplace and special events and educational panels.

Community Voices provides an opportunity to highlight your organization as a leader in your respective field to a variety of influential audiences across the community. Other benefits include high quality training in public speaking to help develop your skills and coaching to develop concise and compelling messages that will serve you in other contexts.

thank you...

United Way wishes to thank everyone who participated in last year’s Community Voices program. Whether you were a speaker or an agency director that enabled your staff to volunteer, your time and talent was invaluable.

The power of United Way is brought to life by your stories and those of people whose lives we touch every day. As speakers, your voice demonstrates the impact we are all making in the areas of Healthy Child Development, Increasing Youth Opportunities, Sustainable Employment, and Affordable Housing. Because of you, the community can more fully understand how together we are creating real change.

It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future.
